We have been the manufacturer or OEM provider of many brands, like:
Q1. Do You Provide Customized Products and OEM Service?
Yes, we accept both customized products and OEM. There are over 50% of the output are produced according to the samples from customers. The directions and demand from our customers are the first to be considered. We think what you think.
Q2. How Do You Manage Your Quality Control? How the Products Are Made?
YES. Self quality control is a very important step in the manufacturing process. We have special quality control team in each step of the products manufacturing.
How the quality control processes are implemented is shown in the following FAQS.
Q3. Do You Dye the Thread Yourself?
As a shoelace manufacturing factory, we do not dye the thread. There is a fixed dyeing factory working for us, and they have well-trained technicians in charge of dyeing process to guarantee the correct color.
Q4. What Is the Process When Making The Braid For Shoelace?
Basically, there are eight procedures in making the braid for shoelace:
1. get raw material from raw material supplier
2. dye the polyester low stretch yarn at dyeing factory
3. knit the colored thread into customized shoelace in terms of shape
4. cut the shoelace into correct length( 60cm, 75cm, 120cm, etc)
5. tag the laces with paper band
6. blister packing with blister card and plastic covering
7. pack the cartons
Q5. Who Sets The Machine To Cut To The Correct Length 60cm, 100cm etc? Operator / Supervisor?
It is the supervisor who set the machine to the correct length. Operators are required to measure the length of product every two hours, and make adjustment when necessary.
Q6. Is the Measurement Taken With The Lace Under Tension or Relaxed?
If we are required to produce a 60cm length lace, the final length of shoelace is 60cm under natural condition (with the lace relaxed).
If we need to cut a 60cm length lace, the cutting machine is set to cut a 61cm length, because braid is under tension when being processed on the machine. As the length of lace changes with temperate and texture (in majority cases, laces shrink after been made), we cut the lace a little bit longer (usually about 2%) on the machine than required by customers. A few experiment and adjustment will be conducted before entering the formal cutting procedure to ensure the final right length.
Q7. Does the length include the plastic end tags or not?
The length of plastic end tag is included.
Q8. Does Anybody Check To See If The Lengths Are Correct?
Yes. We do have people to check the length, but not everyone. We do random sampling.
Length tolerance: [103% of required length——99% of required length].
Those longer than length tolerance will be cut again to match the right length.
Those shorter than length tolerance are defective products. They will not be sold to customers.
Q9. Do You Take Any Measure To Manage The Order Batch of All Blister Cards?
Yes, we do. All the blister cards are now batch coded with the production order date.
Q10. Where All The Quality Control Checks Are Carried Out?
Places/procedures checks are carried:
1. check the quality of thread, select the most suitable material strictly
2. Compare the color of thread being processed by dyeing factory with sample from customer
3. Check the braid produced in factory with sample from customer
4. Make sure the plastic end tags are firm
5. Measure the length of shoelace in natural condition, and make adjustment of cutting machine when necessary
6. Check the quality of blister card
7. make sure the plastic covering can stick to blister card firmly
Q11. What length should I choose?
Length of shoelaces is based on the quantity of eyelets on shoes. The more eyelets you have , the longer the shoelaces you need.
Length Guide |
Length | 100CM | 125cm | 145CM | 160cm |
eyelets | 4-5 | 6-7 | 7-8 | More than 8 |
